BRRR Strategy, Advice?

Oscar Carrazco
Posted

So, I've been living in this house for about 15 years now (I'm 19) . It's still being payed and considering life is inconsiderate, my older brother and I are in charge of paying it. Here's the thing, it's under my uncles name and we want it to be under our names now to start doing the BRRRR and if it's even possible to do. Any questions about our situation I'll answer as best I can; any advice on what to do, how to do it or if there is a better strategy, is much appreciated

First would be to put it under your name and brothers. This would be done through a refinance. In a refinance the lender is going to want to see that you guys are able to make the payments. So credit score, DTI etc.

I think right now that's the biggest obstacle to overcome before anything.

After that, there is a lot of options on what you can do, perhaps a HELOC etc.
