Hi, my name is Yong and I have been working as an actuary for a few years in the Philadelphia region. In the last few months, I have started reading real estate books and articles and came across BP and quickly noticed the wealth of information available on this site.

After reading the beginner's guide and several other resources, I want to pursue the buy and hold strategy and focus on small multifamily properties while still working full-time. My goal is to become an expert in this niche and build an investment portfolio with multiple(hundreds or even thousands... maybe I am getting overambitious too early?) small/medium multifamily properties to generate passive income.

My next step is to join a local REIA either in the city and/or in the suburbs.

Thanks,

Yong
