Hello BP!

I joined BP today and would like to quickly introduce myself. A friend told me about BP so I've been browsing the past two weeks. Great platform and great people here! Thank you all for your contribution to make this a helpful websites for newbies like me who is eager to learn about Real estate investing.

I lived in Memphis a few years when I was little, but don't know much about the city since I was too young back then. Recently moved back to the city with my family, I am hoping to start my REI in the greater Memphis area. My goal is to start my portfolio of buy and hold properties, and sometimes down the road tab into fix and flip as well. As a complete newbie to REI, I would love to get your advise on the topic and the city. Right now I'm reading books, browsing through BP and forums, and doing some research on the city.
