College Student Investing in Northern MA/Southern NH

Happy Tuesday All,

Here goes my first post on the forums!

My name is Henry Bowden and I am currently going into my senior year at Virginia Tech. I'm from Northshore Massachusetts and hope to invest in the area once out of college. Like many, my real estate journey began after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and falling in love with the idea of passive income. Soon after, I read Brandon Turner's "The Book on Rental Property Investing" and decided REI would be my path to financial freedom. Since then, I've read as many REI and business books as I could get my hands on, listened religiously to the BP podcast, watched countless YouTube videos, and scrolled endlessly through the BP forums. I am eager to start investing, however, as a college student and intern, I do not have the capital nor credit to begin just yet. Not willing to accept defeat, I have decided to take some real estate classes and turn my attention down the only other path, wholesaling.

While interning this summer, I have devoted my spare time to learning everything about wholesaling. I have learned a lot from YouTube channels such as Lili Invests and Flipping Mastery TV and have begun analyzing and reaching out for deals. I hope to do the majority of my business in Northeast Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire with the possibility of my college town in Virginia.

If anybody has any tips or contacts for investing in the Northern MA/Southern NH area, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. This is the first of many posts I will be making on the BP forums as I successfully move towards financial freedom.

Thank you,

Henry Bowden
