Wanting to hear start up stories

Daniel Rodriguez
Posted

My name is Daniel, and I am fairly new to learning about investing in rental properties. I am only in college, but I would love to learn about investing such as the "must do and must don't". Mainly, I want to hear the start up stories of you guys. What was troublesome during the journey, what are some tips that I'll need to know before starting my investment journey. I appreciate any help!

@Daniel Rodriguez The most troublesome part of getting into real estate is imposter syndrome. You need to order yourself some business cards that say "investor" on them and start calling yourself an investor even before you have a property. You are an investor that is just in their education phase. People are so worried about labels that they think they need to wait until they have a certain number or properties to call themselves an investor but I think it is the biggest mindset shift. You are on BP, therefore you are an investor.
