Been doing a lot of research about real estate investing and want to start while I'm young. Hope to get some feedback on how some people started.

Welcome to BP Nation Shawn. In my book, you are way ahead of the game by the simple fact that you have chosen RE at an early age. Kudos to you for that. Pick a strategy, learn everything you can on that strategy, learn your market, network with everyone you can, and stick with it, stay determined, and success will be EARNED.

I started my first business at the age of 20 (not RE, but a self employed business none the less) and have been self employed for most of my adult life. There are many paths in the RE world so choose one and stick with it.
