Appraiser & Investor??
The more I think about my future the more I think it is a good idea to get a job in real estate in which I will build capital to then help fund my investments. One job that I recently came across was an appraiser. If I were to do this I would start out making little money as an apprentice/trainee, then move to licensed residential, and finally certified residential.
Honestly, I think this could be one of the best ways to learn and study different markets/trends/cities/neighborhoods/etc. and truly learn how to find opportunity deals while being paid to do so.
BP Members... If you have the chance I have 2 questions regarding this:
First, are there any complications/legalities to being both an appraiser and an investor in the same area? I would prefer not to be sued.
And second, if any one is out there from the Tampa Bay area, that is a company in need of appraisers in the future, I am considering taking the trainee course at some point soon. Please connect me with a contact if anyone knows anyone.
Thanks always,
Sam
