What are the steps to file for a Writ of Possession?.

You're best off hiring an attorney to handle it for you, since if you miss any pertinent steps along the way can set you back and prolong it.

Try talking to them first, offer cash for keys maybe.  Otherwise it requires a petition/ motion filing to the courts, a hearing, then issuance of the writ of possession.  As @Chad U. states, you should use an attorney for this.
