What’s one thing you are proud of?

When I first started my company, it was just me.

Early mornings, late nights.

I wore all the hats from marketing to sales to fulfillment.

Then, slowly, we started to add one team member at a time.

An engineer.

Then a salesperson.

Then an admin.

And then the team just kept growing.

As the team grew, we could serve more and more people.

When I reflect on my journey so far, one of the things I'm most proud of things is my team.

Without them, I never would have learned how talented all of us are as individuals.

Without them, I never would have been allowed to be surrounded by such amazing people.

Without them, the impact we’ve made so far and will continue to make never would have been possible.

As you reflect on your journey and career so far, what’s one thing you are proud of?

My first investor, years ago, was my best friend from college. Years and deals have gone by, and he still invests in our deals. Without our properties I'm not sure if he'd be investing in real estate, because he's so busy with work and life. So I'm proud of the fact that back in the day he believed in me enough to trust me with his money, and that we've been able to perform and keep him happy as the business has grown and scaled. 

Never forget who was by your side when you were starting out! It took our investors time, effort, and life energy to build up their investment capital and we must always remember and honor that.
