Cheap surveillance camera using a redundant iPhone

Here's a cheap "free" way to get a surveillance camera.

It DOES require Wifi but will detect motion/take a pic and send you a email if it gets tripped. Not bad for something that would have sat in a drawer. It's a good use for a spare iphone. It will have to stay plugged into a charger while it's in use.

Pretty simple. Download app to both devices, activate an account on the one to be used as camera, sign in on the monitoring device & you're done.

There is also an app for the android but with so many of the kids iPhones floating around I haven't bothered to review it.
