Rebar or Fiber Mesh Slab
I have a basement and my contractor wants to pour fibermesh concrete instead of using rebar and fiber. Is there an issue with simply using only fiber? Another concern is that he was planning to bring the truck on the sidewalk which can damage the Baltimore city sidewalk because the cement truck is so heavy. My questions:
Can I do only fibermesh or do I need rebar?
Do I need a permit to pour a new slab?
Can I get fined for having a cement truck on the sidewalk?
