I have two commercial properties (one retails shop and the other an office warehouse) that I need to lease. My question is, should I give it to just one broker or should I get a broker for each property? They are in the same Albuquerque market (one in Bernalillo the other one in Rio Rancho). My preference is two so I can test two brokers and from then work with the one that performs. Any thoughts?
Commercial broker often specialize in asset classes. I would try and find an office that has brokers for both asset classes; retail and office/industrial. There may be multiple brokers working on your deals all under 1 roof. Let me know if you need any recommendations.
