Looking Members Who Knowledgable or Investing in Lansdowne, PA

Hello All,

I am researching Lansdowne, PA and could use your help.  What does the business and business development landscapes look like?  Any major businesses coming or going?  Does the town have a thriving business district?  How is the real estate market?  How is the rental market?  If one was looking for buy and holds, would Lansdowne be the place or should one move next door to Drexel Hill?  Is there a website that outlines development plans for the town?  Lastly, can anyone recommend a real estate agent who know the landscape very well?

Hi Paulette,

I have 1 property (about to be 2) in Lansdowne and 2 around the corner in Upper Darby. Tenant mix seems to be a lot of commuters due to proximity to 69th St. Real estate market is fairly competitive but deals can still be had. These units seem to rent the quickest for me compared to my other units in other areas. I would stay in Lansdowne vs. Drexel Hill because the prices are lower but the rents are similar. If you can find a deal in Drexel Hill scoop it up quick because it is a bit nicer of an area. I have used @Ray Peslar in the past for a few of my acquisitions before I got my license. He is very knowledgeable of the area.

Hope this helps! Curious to see other responses.
