Moving to Houston
Hello I plan on moving to Houston within the next couple of months. I've been there a few times but I'm not to familiar with the areas. I was wondering what are some good areas to live at in Houston? I'm going to be looking to purchase a 2-4 unit multi family property. My budget will be something under 250k. Also I would like to meet up with any local REI groups out there.

FYI There is an app that is extremely helpful when looking at real estate in the Houston area. Look up HAR and you can have an easy to read map view of what is out there. (which stands for Houston Association of Realtors)
Of course you can filter for multi family properties...
In my experience its hard to come by a good cash flowing 2-4 unit property in this area. In Houston its hard to tell where the 'decent' part of town is. Seems like it is either extremely nice or kinda sketchy.
