Small town boy from Petaluma, California here. From a distance Ogden appears to have a similar vibe as Petaluma, see link

Looking for an Ogden locals perspective. Is historic 25th happening? Food, shops, yoga studios and lots of people hanging around? I am planning on visiting next month to get a true feeling for the area but thinking I wouldn't mind investing in a SFR which could be my 2nd home in retirement. I love the brick houses and the view of the mountains.

Any and all info you are willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Links, blogs etc. Feel free to PM as well.

Also I would love to help out if anyone has any questions about Petaluma.
