Best option for REI using land as collateral
My mother-in-law has about $600,000 worth of land. She is retired and living on social security. I'm trying to help her use that asset to give her some additional cash to live off of. What are some good options that she should try that don't require her selling the property.
My thoughts are to get a loan using the land as collateral to invest in a rental property or as a private investor.
Any ideas?
