Real Estate Agent & Investment Opportunities Los Angeles

As they say, I am a long time listener/reader but first-time poster. First some background - I have lived in Orange County/Los Angeles my whole life (school and all) and would love to get involved in real estate investing to serve as a secondary income source.

 I am hoping to get connected with a real estate agent in LA as I am looking to invest in an investment property (my first) in the LA (Inglewood, Hawthorne, South Bay) area. I know LA can be a tricky market, so it would be great if this agent has experience investing in their own properties as well.

Additionally, I would love to connect with other like-minded individuals in the LA area as well. If you have any suggestions for meetups/get-togethers or if you are interested in some weekend golfing, count me in!

Any advice/guidance would be appreciated!
