Looking to Buy Property w/ 2-3 Unit Potential

Hi folks!

My plan is to find a property to buy and house hack in Oakland. The target is a multi unit property in the 2-3 unit range or something that I can covert to a multi unit. My criteria is that renting out other units would cover most of the cost and would cashflow if I rent out all units. I'm hoping to connect with real estate agents or other investors who could help find a property. Just looking on sites like Redfin, I'm having difficulty finding something that would fit my criteria so I'm hoping to connect with real estate agents or investors who could help with my search. I'm also wondering if I need to search other areas outside Oakland giving the rising prices and demand for homes. Any feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
