Apartment Flip - Hiring GC or Subs?

Hi everyone, I'm going to be doing my first flip this month and I'm located in Vancouver Canada. It will just be a cosmetic lipstick on the pig style rehab (no structural, electrical, plumbing, etc) as its going to be done in an apartment unit. I have no experience in construction so was wondering what would the best option be if I'm only looking to replace kitchen cabinets, counters, floors, painting, light fixture, vanities, appliances?

What I want to prioritize is speed and decent quality while still optimizing costs (in that order) as I want to get the unit (700sq ft) done within 1 month and do the same at least once a month.

Thanks!

Depends on you and your skills/abilities. Certainly you can save money by hiring each individual licensed sub contractor but if you do not have experience in managing projects like this, you may not be able to perfectly schedule and manage each sub efficiently eating into your savings. You may have one sub delay you or not show up on the scheduled day messing up your entire schedule. Many things can go wrong which would eat into your savings. That said, the best way to learn in my opinion is doing so plan as best as you can, get some advice from a pro and do one. Even if it ends up costing you the same or more than had you hired a GC for it all, you gained valuable insight and experience for the next one and the next one. You have to start somewhere!

I would hire subs, at some point you need to learn how to deal with them, since it is a small project, it is an opportunity to do that.
