hi bpers, I was looking at possible ball park cost for redo with pex plumbing and electrical.

Copper missing - fixtures still in place.

2000 square-foot

3 stories

2 bathroom

Is this well over 15k?

Thanks in advanced!

For plumbing, you're likely in the $200-300 per fixture range (with fixtures being faucets, water heater, exterior hose bibs, washer box, toilets, washing machine, etc). Typically, I'd expect 15-20 fixtures in a 3/2 house, so $3000-6000.

For electrical, it's tough to give a ballpark, but assuming $50-100 per fixture/outlet/switch is probably reasonable, especially if the sheetrock is all intact to start with (new construction would be cheaper). This doesn't include upgrade of service, which is likely in the $1000-2500 range.

While California prices may be higher than what I stated above, I'd think $15K should be plenty to get this done...
