Curb appeal for thus duplex?

How would you fix up curb appeal on this duplex? Paint it, remove green weeds and green window cover thing, maybe black top the driveways. The shape of the property is just a little funny looking to me.

Doing something with the stair railing might make it pop. Not saying Cedar is the way but it brings some good curb appeal. Pic link
