Painting a Fiberglass Tub/Shower Unit and existing tile

Hello. I am new to BP. I have a house under contract that has a very large tiled master bath with a newer Jacuzzi tub. The problem is the the tile is black and the tub is pink. Not very attractive to most buyers after the rehab. Has anyone used a professional company to paint/ refurbish the tub and tile in a past rehab? This would reduce cost and time on the project. Any help and info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Scot

I don't know your market but a house worth over $200k, I would replace, not try and go cheap. When people notice the quick fix on the cheap, they will naturally wonder what else you went cheap on. Just my opinion, but painted tile, no matter how good the job is, does not look good. Placing new tile and a new tub is not that much money and will add value to the property. I am quite sure you would get your money back and likely then some going the new route. Again, just my opinion without basing anything on your local market conditions.
