Attic insulation - demo

Hey Guys, I am starting the demo on my first property in San Antonio. The majority of the house has ceiling tiles that need to go. However I'm not sure what to do with all the loose fill insulation in the attic. The house is under a flight path and it might provide noise insulation as well. Do you guys normally keep and reuse the insulation or do you discard it and get new insulation? Any suggestions? John

If you are having to redo the ceiling, then that means the house is probably old enough to want to put in new insulation. At home depot, if you buy enough of the insulation, they will LEND you the machine to blow it in yourself. If you have too much, you can bring it back for a full refund.

Also with summers over 100 degrees, you need ceiling insulation. Put the new stuff. Probably less carcinogens.
