Carpeting and interlocking floors

Long story short, I am in the final phase of my very first rehab in a C class neighborhood. I have three bedrooms with terrible carpeting, carpet has been removed in one room, wood floors looked very nice. I'm afraid that tenants will damage all wood floors . Should I pay to have carpet installed by HD or refinish the hardwood floors?
