Flipping mobile homes

Hey I'm a newbie starting out in Yelm, WA. I have been learning for a bit now and trying to get my hands dirty finally doing something. Currently living in my in laws mobile home park and I'm looking at what the possibilities are for finding manufactured homes and flipping them since I only have about 10K of capital. My dad is experienced in moving mobiles and setting them. We could just buy the home already in a park and re-sell. Or find homes that need to be moved, renovate them then find a park willing to take it in, and then sell. Would love to hear some thoughts and ideas or experiences in this line of strategy. Thanks! Shawn

First thing you need to do is make contact with the park owners, you need them on board with your plans otherwise there is no point in even starting. Sit down and explain your plans and get their approval in advance or don't bother attempting to flip. The Community owner will be your best silent partner or your worst enemy, your choice.
