Just put a metal roof on this house, before / after *pics*

picked this baby up a month or so ago..

i still need to screw in the bottom row and i had to special order another ridge cap b/c i was short about a foot. looks pretty good, really made the house look good... neighbors were real pleased as this is the crappy house on the st.

they'll really like it after i redo the front porch and garage w/ 2 new garage doors, make the driveway look nice, etc.etc.

it was a pain in the butt

1 day to put the slats on.. it was a cedar shake roof with 3 tabs over top.. .so instead of ripping it all off and putting up plywood i just put 1x4 slats over.

3 days to put the metal on, I also re-mortared the chimney.

materials were about 1,000. screws alone were around 200 but I have extra to take back so probably -75.00. So maybe around 900'ish.

I should never have to touch this roof again.
