On-site coaching from home inspectors/contractors

I have purchased a couple of buy & hold single family rentals and would like to get into flipping. With little home inspection knowledge/big renovation experience I am hesitant to buy a run-down property though. Are home inspectors/contractors interested in providing such coaching service to people like me? How else can I get that knowledge/exposure first hand ?
