Seeking Tenant Proof Windows?

I have 8 units and most windows will need to be replaced soon.  Almost all tenants use window air conditioner units.  I'm just wondering what you have found to be the best windows for this type of use. Additionally, any input on whether or not this is a diy project for someone that has no experience.  I am fairly handy...Youtube!!

If you have dual-pane windows, then it's highly likely you (and the tenants) were never told the right way to clean them

  • NEVER use a cleaner with ammonia !!
  • instead, use water & alcohol 50/50 solution

The ammonia will destroy the class seal and thus allow moisture to get inside and spoil the utility of the dual-panes
