Does your contractor have to have their license?
He's currently in school to get it, but has been working on and in houses for the past 10 years. He's also a close friend. What are your thoughts on this?

most lenders require contractors be license & insured for best security purposes. what if he gets hurt...accidents happen. the friendship with a 'sorry buddy' won't pay those doctor bills and you can get sued. protect yourself. protect the business. my coin.
