Flip Funding tips - first flip

I have worked with Rentals, and I have pretty deep experience with managing AirBnb units, but I have not yet done a flip. What are some tips to get financing for a flip? I approached a lender few years back, and had no success. They couldn't grasp the concept of buying with intent to sell in 8 months time. How many lenders or what kind do you need to approach to find one willing to finance this kind of REI?

I would recommend approaching several, possibly 5 or 6 lenders. You are sure to find one in the crowd that is familiar with flipping, and will appreciate the short turnaround time.
