Is it a good time to get into rehabbing, is it always a good time? What do you look for that shows positive signs of rehabbing houses?

Rehabbing is good when you can either buy houses at a large discount or sell houses at a good premium (or both).

While it's not always possible to do one of those, it normally is. For the past few years, it's been easy to buy at a discount. A few years before that, it was easy to sell at a high premium.

In my market, it's still pretty easy to buy houses at a large discount, so as far as I'm concerned, it's a good time/place to rehab.
