Asbestos Siding Removal

Can anyone give me a rough idea of what I should expect to pay to remove asbestos siding and replace with vinyl on a 3,650 sqft 2 story home? I’m trying to decide if it’s worth the trouble on a possible rental property.

Hi @David Nacco If it is in decent shape I would suggest putting the vinyl siding over the asbestos. I would be sure to use a vapor barrier when installing the vinyl over the asbestos, so it is more contained. There are some step by step resources that go through putting vinyl on asbestos siding, I wouldn't recommend doing it your self, but you can atleast get some ideas on what to ask for or look for.
