Financing Rehab Costs

Hello BP Community!

I am closing on an investment property that needs about $30K in interior rehab. Would a lender on the conventional mortgage lend money toward the rehab or should I get a hard money loan and pay back through a cash-out refi once the rehab is done?

Appreciate any insights!

@Michael Keane 30k is small enough that a 0% credit card for 18 months could work if you have good credit.
