Hello all. I am new to investing and want to establish a relationship with a title company in my area. I would greatly appreciate your recommendations for investor friendly companies in Grand Rapids, especially if they would be willing to go through the process with me for clarity.
Thanks so much!
@Emilee Steers there are many good title companies in the GR area. What sort of transactions are you looking to do so I can point you in the right direction.
@Jake Thomas I am currently working on wholesale deals and contract assignments, and I want to start getting some more hands on experience in the near future.
@Emilee Steers Most title companies understand wholesaling. My title company actually wrote my contract for me so that it would be even easier. As you start to close your first deal, the best way to get information is from your buyer. They're title companies are always investor friendly and in most cases pretty quick to get the deal closed. So when you have a buyer for your property, ask them which title company they use. Go to the company with the buyer if you have to so that you can introduce yourself. Hope this helps.
@Louis Davis Thank you so much for the advice! I hadn't thought to go through my buyers for that.
@Louis Davis , thanks for the great advice!
My pleasure guys. Get some properties under contract. Don't fear the unknown. Be ok with learning as you go and taking it step by step.
