Advice Needed: Beginning Tax Lien Investor

Hello BP,

I have always been a low risk kinda gal, and recently discovered tax liens. I like that there is opportunity to make high rates of return,  assuming rates haven't been bid down, and I'm seeking advice from anyone with Tax Lien experience.

Any counties you like working with in particular? Specific counties you avoid?

Have you ever had a lien not be redeemed, and what did that process look like for you?

Other advice?

I've tried to do some due diligence to read as much as I can, but I'd like to feel comfortable before making the leap, and that means asking my BP community!

Thank you kindly,

Ashley Watkins

Tax lien or deed investing is VERY state specific.  Are you looking to primarily invest for the rate or to obtain properties?  This can make a big difference in where you want to start looking.
