Advice For CA Tax Sale Auction
Hello everyone,
My county is having its tax lien auction in May. This will be my dads and I first time bidding for a property. Any advice for preforming due diligence on each prospective property before and during the auction? I know to get a title search done, research the market the property is in and visit the property itself to get an idea of the condition it is in, but that's about it.
Any advice, resources or personal stories is much appreciated to help mitigate any major surprises in the upcoming future.
V/R,
Tommy Garcia

yes absolutely.. you will find that VERY FEW if any improved properties go to sale. Majority will be the stuff up in the high desert and there are companies that buy routinely then sell to foreigners and or others who do not understand the value proposition...
CA is not a state to go hunting for homes at tax sale is just very rare that one will go.. and if it does probably gets bid way up....
