Non-performing Note Question

Michael Roberts
Posted

Are there any considerations for buying different types of non-performing notes? FHA, USDA, VA? I'm looking at VA NPNs in MO at the moment. Thanks!

You will need to be sure the loan servicer is set up to service a Fed VA loan. Pricing at acquisition would not necessarily be different, but the servicing side is. Also, be sure the VA Guaranty is still valid.
