Lets say there is a seller with a 9k lien, and you will pay his lien to get his house at a good discount, Do you give the money to the seller so he pays the lien? Or How do you pay his lien? Does he have to sign a contract with you before paying his lien?
Get a closing attorney and have it as part of the sale and the attorney will take those funds to pay off the loan. DO NOT give it to the person who had the lien against them
