Equivest: Mobile County Tax Sales

FYI:
We [Mobile County] are aware of the Equivest ruling and will continue to monitor. In 2006 Mobile County passed the attached resolution that designated 3925 Michael Blvd., Suite G, as a courthouse annex and subsequent tax sales have been held at this location. We feel confident that these sales are valid. Also, this past year the Mobile County Revenue Commission switched from a traditional sale to a tax lien sale. This type of sale only requires a public auction and doesn’t require that the sale be held on the courthouse steps. I hope this helps.
