New Investor in Kansas City

Hey everyone, after quite a bit of research and lurking, I'm looking to start investing out of state in the KC market. I'm looking to fly down soon and network with folks in the area!

I'm primarily looking at 2-4 unit properties, and being out of state I'd love any insight of the market and any recommendations for investment minded RE Agents and reliable Property Managers in the area (PM me). Inventory seems to be really tight and the MLS seems to be hard on finding deals, any advice would be appreciated!

Hey @Noel Negusse

Let me know if you want to meet up while you're in town, I'm always down to talk about real estate. I am an investor myself and started investing here while I was living in Denver for five years so I definitely understand the long-distance side of things. I purchased 21 units long-distance before I moved back to Kansas City. I'd be happy to discuss the areas of interest and what to stay away from.
