neighborhoods around charlotte

Good Morning everyone,

I am relatively new to the area and I have been talking with some locals recently to figure out which areas to avoid when looking to invest. I have been getting some mix feedback. Some are saying the West of Charlotte is the area to avoid. Some are saying parts of east Charlotte. Can anybody that is familiar with the area help me out. Thanks!
