Meetup in Raleigh May21-28-Getting to know the area/team building

Hi BP!

I am a new investor from NY who has selected Raleigh, North Carolina as my market of interest. I planned a trip from May 21st to May 28th with the purpose of getting to know the area and selecting more of a specific location/neighborhood. I am looking for any advice on neighborhoods areas that you think I should look into. I am interested in buy and holds and preferably duplexes.

I also see this for an opportunity to build a team in the area. I have been looking into bigger pockets events and meetups but nothing seems to be scheduled that week - if you know of something please let me know. I am also interested in meeting agents, property managers and investors in the area. Please let me know if you are around and are available to meet, coffee on me.

Thanks in advance,

Maricruz Romero

See also my posts on Looking for multifamily duplex/fourplex.. and Is Raleigh a good cashflow market? for information on the small Total Available Market (TAM) for duplexes and quads in Wake county. The total market you seek is about 0.2% of all residential property, so slim pickings. If you go to the second link I posted, I put in links to other BP topics about Raleigh area duplexes and quads.

Good luck in your search.
