HELOC recommendations for Oregon

Hi BPers,

I'm looking at purchasing doors 4 & 5 and was wondering what experience anyone had with using a HELOC against their rental property. What companies do you recommend? What is different about using a HELOC against a rental vs a primary home? I went to my credit union and the max they will fund for a HELOC is 50k which seemed odd. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
