How is rent income taxed?

I have a question on how to calculate my tax deductions on rental expenses.

Are these all considered expenses, therefore tax deductible?

Mortgage interest

Real estate taxes

Management fees

Maintenance items

I imagine that mortgage principle payments are not tax deductible.   Correct?
