The Austin-Round Rock metro area has been, and continues to be, one of the hottest real estate markets in Texas. Home prices are not coming down, inventory is staying low, and prices and appreciation values continue to rise. A robust leasing market in Travis and surrounding counties is indicative of a robust residential real estate market. Vacancy rate in the rental market has dropped to 6.4% in March 2018, down from 8.6% in 2010 🤯
