According to a new Zillow Market Report, pending home sales have begun to increase in recent weeks, after a steep drop during the second half of March, due to the coronavirus.

In the Austin metro area, pending sales were down 29.5% annually, but up 14.6% week-over-week as of April 19. This is in comparison to the national market trends, where pending sales are up 6.2% week-over-week since March 12.

Be patient; remember that no one can be evicted or foreclosed right now and balloon payments of forbearance programs are still on the horizon. Don't get lost in analysis paralysis with data under guides of a fundamental backdrop further deteriorating by the day.
