Navigating Fort Worth Property Tax Records

I am learning how to navigate tax records in Fort Worth, so I can verify deals that have been sent to me from wholesalers. I found the Tarrant appraisal district website, and that's about all I could find. It has general info, but doesn't mention the number of beds or baths, or really anything other than suggested land and property value, sq ft, lot size, and year. I feel like I have got to be missing something here. Any help is appreciated!

@Benjamin Carver   I'm not sure the TAD or tax records sites have much value in my opinion.   Some do have beds/baths, but like you said TAD doesn't.  Values can be way high or way low or right on.  I'd say more often than not they are not accurate enough to use for any kind of analysis.  Every bit of information can be wrong and pretty common that it is wrong.  It's the government after all.

Sometimes you can piece together information from various free resources, but more often than not you might be better off pulling info from one of the paid resources that compile data from many sources.

Also I would say be very careful with wholesale deals around here.  ARVs normally way too high, comps suspect that they send out, repair estimates way too low....most often you don't get any real inspection period, so you're looking at $5000 non-refundable option money to put it under contract in your name with no chance to back out without loosing your money.  Most won't finance, so they're either looking for cash buyers, or you need to have solid hard money lender lined up that won't bail on your deal....or you can loose a lot of money quickly.
