Looking for realtor recommendation, Investor savvy

I'm going to be visiting the Tacoma area in a few weeks to look at properties and areas. Can someone recommend an investir savvy realtor I can work with, SFR, buy and hold. Looking at Tacoma and South King County areas.

Thanks

Hey @Tim S. ,  good to see some out of state attention coming to Tacoma! Last year I moved back here from Australia to get in with the Tacoma scene. Tons of big economic projects on the near horizon that should really improve the real estate landscape. But I'm sure you're well aware if you're coming up here to scope it out!

I'm happy to show some properties when you're in town. Or even just hear more about the note investing you do. Looks like you do a fair bit out in the midwest, which is where my properties are so far.

Tim, I've lived in San Jose before.  What are your thoughts about the Tacoma/South King market compared to the Bay Area?  Do you think Tacoma is analogous to Oakland?

Hi @Adrian Chu

In some ways the Oakland/SF situation is similar to Tacoma/Seattle.   The biggest difference though is proximity, Oakland is just a 10min BART ride from downtown SF.   Because of the limited supply and high cost of SF housing people started moving to Oakland.  Now the cost differential is much smaller.

It's a much longer commute from Tacoma to the jobs in Seattle so I don't think the price gap will narrow as much as it has in Oakland/SF.  Is that the dynamic you were thinking of?

Something like Concord to SF is more analogous to Tacoma/Seattle.  More similar commute time, and housing price differential.

@Tim S. Are you looking for a broker that understands the investment aspect of SFH or someone that's willing to push paper until you find a deal?
