I am a Calgary Landlord and looking to evict a tenant from my property. The issue is that I have entered into an option to purchase agreement. I am looking to liquidate the property ASAP and will return their deposit (minus fees, late payments), however I am unclear as to how the eviction process for the tenancy agreement works. Should I send them an eviction notice? Should I go to RTDS? Any advice would be appreciated.
What's your reason for evicting, and what's the reason for wanting to get rid of the property? Is your option to purchase essentially a rent-to-own? How much of an option consideration have they paid?
