Cameron dunlap SCAM!!!
Cameron Dunlap offers a funding service for which he manipulatively requires $1000 as a RETAINER and upon completion of your first funding, your $1000 would be knocked off from the 3/4 points charges....he also gives you access to his online iFlip course, Foreclosure University as a bonus (this is only online access and never dispatched - as it was in my case). This course is supposed to get you started and help you with the necessary (or some of the essential) orientation on foreclosure properties.
Provided that I am in the UK, I was advised flipping houses could be done from anywhere....so my physical location shouldn't be of any concern. When it became apparent after putting in some significant effort, that it is imperative to have local intelligence and foot-soldiers to make this thing work, I returned to Cameron's team and asked for a return of my $1000 retainer, notifying them of the difficulties I was having coupled with my dad's critical health (which led to his decease).
After a back and forth battle, they made reference to the foreclosure course (which I never received) as having a 30 days return policy - and since the course has been sent out, it cannot be returned (again I pointed out that the course was never dispatched as I did not receive anything here in the UK from Cameron).I made it clear that I paid for the offered RETAINER (which ensures that I secure financing from Cameron when I have a deal to close) and not the course. And according to Cameron’s suggestion during the webinar I attended, the retainer came with a bonus of the course and not the other way around. Hence, I should be able to get my money back considering I have not used my money for its intended purpose – if the company had not intended to deliberately mislead and scam people knowing fully well that whether or not a deal is done, the money WILL never be returned.
In summary, Cameron has several channels and several programs deceitfully packaged to ensure people commit their money. Never count on Cameron dunlap’s words……I had made several effort to get in touch with cameron himself directly but someone in his team would always respond with the same line confirming that Cameron does not care about any customer once he’s intentions to con you have been fulfilled. Mine is still with them till date and as a matter of fact, my account now no longer exists on their system.
WATCHOUT for Cameron Dunlap people!!!!he is a CON ARTIST...
Hope this helps someone.
@ nick graff or anyone that has used the zero fee funding. Does Cameron fund 100% of the deal like purchase price plus rehab cost? Or is it like hard money and they fund 90% of purchase and you still need to come up with rehab cost?
Keith. What Cameron gives is transactional funding. This is a short term loan of 24 hrs or less and is not funding for rehab. There are no fees apart from buying the program. It can be used as many times as needed while a member. This funding is used if you want to or need to do a double closing. This is needed if you are “wholesaling “ a foreclosure from a bank that doesnt allow assignment of contract. Or if your assignment fee is large and you dont want seller to immediately see your $$ you will make, you can close in a double closing. My problem with the program is the expensive mentoring program. But his data and this transactional funding is legit. Ill repeat though, this is not a rehab loan.

To all:
None of you NEED a mentor. Sure, things might be better with one, but it's not a REQUIREMENT. Between BP, youtube, google, local REI and maybe a short-term coach to get things going is all any of us really need.
i am sure there are those who got a mentor and everything worked out. but for everyone of those success stories, it seems like there's an equal number of disaster stories.
To anyone considering getting a mentor, trainer, teacher, coach, etc., you don't need to spend thousands. And remember that anyone using the phrase "MONEY BACK GUARANTEED" should be avoided at all costs. The service SHOULD be so good there's no reason to need a refund policy.
From my experience with Cameron Dunlap, he has been around on YouTube for several years and seemed like a very trustworthy person. Several years ago I ordered one of his programs, I started using it for about a month, but became distracted and was unable to follow up with it. I contacted his company by email and was immediately granted a refund. I would order from them again if the need arises.
I'm retired 61 years old and this is my retirement niche. I haven't been around long but I have done a few deals. I like it a lot, my first mentor scammed me for $12k case still open fbi this was almost three yrs. I accept i screwed up and didn't check him out. I said that to say this there are some great people in our industry but not very many honest ones. The new investor must be careful. I hear some talk about ethics when wholesaling which is great where are the ethics when teaching and selling no refundable products im not against it put a deadline on it. A few are part of the 1%-2% top income in the USA. I dont understand it when they lie or mislead when its not even necessary, or talk about themselves 10yrs later instead of how things has changed when at one time only rich & white men was the only ones investing. Now you have all races and women. The industry has changed but racism hasn't, they don't teach real life situations they change when on YouTube but try contacting them off YouTube two different people and most of the time they won't even answer you. I have talked to a couple of retired investors that both said the industry has never been so one sided then today, and no one helps unless they get something instead of for the love of the industry that made them rich, but not knocking learning material at a price but the person behind the program because most of them are not for you make sure before you spend your last dime do your home work on the man or woman selling it or teaching it, for reasons there are good and bad people in every industry in the world. Its finding that needle in the hay stack is what you want.
Yes ,Cameron Dunlap is a shrewd scammer! He will sell software and lead generation systems having you to believe its going to provide you with leads but its outdated and he has a transaction funding that will give you access to 600,000 of his money. But hes a liar!
